Physicians, researchers and computation scientists used patient genomic sequencing and CNV data generated by Otogenetics in a clinical trial for identification of effective biological pathway targets unique to each individual cancer patient who had failed traditional treatment(s). The mathematical model predicted clinical drug responses with a 91.7% positive predictive value (PPV) in the study patient group, and the predicted biological pathway targets were confirmed by independent laboratory tests in 89% of the patients.
